T his year my resolution is for me to get better grades. This would benefit me in more ways than one. One way it would better my current life is that it would impress my parents, and they would probably give me more freedom than what I have. Since I will be 16 next year I need to start worrying about getting a car, and along with a car I need insurance. The better my grades are the cheaper my insurance will be, and as they always say, cheaper is better!
Once I get to be a junior/senior, college is something I need to think about. If I have higher grades, I have a much more vast choice of possible schools I could attend, and more schools would want to accept me. After college I need to put my life together, and if I get good grades in high school and college, more places would want to hire me.
Not only would getting good grades improve how adults view me, but it would also make me feel better about myself, and it's always good to feel that.
